Jan Hein Nielsen (Denmark) has been working in the field of systemic organizational change and development since 1995. Jan has especially worked with human resources and the capacity to grow innovation and implement change in organizations with an aligned strategy of natural and sustainable growth. His work have been in all type of organizations – Corporates, Public Administration and NGO's. Jan is the owner of the consultancy company Uphill, Denmark. Since the beginning Jan was inspired of the potential in leadership engaging and empowering resources in co-creating collaborative and innovative solutions, and he has made it a core competence to implement participatory governance and leadership in organizational development and as a capacity for leaders to train and practice. Jan has co-founded The Art of Hosting (The Art of Participatory Leadership) and The Flow Game, and is the author to a book on the process of innovation, “Idea Development – from head to hands”.
Cate Valentine (Belgium) is the Founder and MD of CONSTRUCT People, a Brussels based Learning and Development consultancy. She studied HRM and Industrial Psychology in South Africa, and has been working with individuals and groups in organisations for almost 20 years. After a successful corporate career in HR for over 10 years, she has worked with diverse cultures and countries in Europe, South Africa, the US, Kyrgyzstan and Brazil. Since joining the Art of Hosting (AoH) Community in 2006, she has observed in business, a growing shift in thinking about traditional ways of learning and return on investment. This opens a space for more cost effective and time efficient solutions where learning happens through conversation, knowledge sharing and other participatory practices that draw on collective intelligence to solve problems, make decisions and improve engagement. In June this year she piloted a participatory leadership workshop aimed at corporate business leaders. Its success has encouraged her to keep working in this area, helping organisations and people learn and develop in ways that are simple, human and sustainable.
Miljenka Plazonić Bogdan (Croatia) is a facilitator and trainer with many years of experience in initiating, launching and developing organizations and projects through participatory group processes that allow involvement of a large number of participants, encourage cocreation and long-term collaboration. Many years of her corporate experience is supplemented with activities in the nonprofit and public sectors, finding new ways of cross-sectoral cooperation and entrepreneurship in solving social problems. Miljenka is a member of several local and international professional networks, including the Art of Hosting (AOH) network, since the year 2003 and the very beginning of this network.
Adrijana Strnad (Croatia) works as an executive coach, leadership trainer, facilitator and lecturer. Her greatest passion in working with organizations is Team coaching, grounded in almost 15 years of playing in the corporate arena, managing high performing teams in the field of Marketing Operations, Communications and Organizational Development. Holding an endless curiosity in discovering how team dynamics, personal growth and business performance are connected, she helps teams of executives to facilitate organizational change by showing up as transformational leaders. BSc in electrical engineering, with a postgraduate degree in management and years of training and corporate practice in strategic marketing and organizational learning, before launching her coaching and consulting practice she worked primarily in the industries of ICT and Telecommunications. She is an Associate Certified Coach, member of International Coaching Federation, Coach U ACCP graduate, licensed Coaching Clinic facilitator and Art of Hosting Practitioner.
Jasmina Lukačević (Croatia) works as a consultant in the HRPRO software company which provides IT solutions for Human Resources. In her work, she fosters collaboration of colleagues, partners and clients, to combine the best of technology and Human Resources practice. Jasmina is also a professional facilitator with bold experience in the area of participatory processes and related methodologies. She is passionate about designing and hosting conversations where diverse perspectives are brought in „one room“ and people talk around questions that matters and seek new possibilities, instead of getting stuck with barriers and old rules which doesn't work any longer. By the primary education, Jasmina is B.Sc. in Mathematics. She is The Art of Hosting practitioner since 2003, when attending at first AOH training made great impact at her professional work and life!!
